Day 1

09:00 Sightseeing tour across Tashkent:
  • Visit the Memorial for the Victims of Repression.
  • Overview the Tashkent TV tower (distant view).
  • Central Asian Plov Center.
  • Minor Mosque (White Mosque).
  • Monument of Courage.
  • Old City, Khast-Imam architectural complex: Kaffal-as-Shoshi Mausoleum, Barak-Khan Madrasah, Khast-Imam Mosque. Mui-Muborak Madrasah – the original Koran of the Caliph Usman.

13:00 Lunch. Continuation of the tour:

  • Chorsu's market (most picturesque market in the city).
  • Nations Friendship Square.
  • Mustakillik Square (Independence Square).
  • Palace of the Grand duke Romanov.
  • Theater of Alisher Navoiy (external view).
  • Amir Temur's square.
  • Tashkent Metro (Undeground/Subway).

Day 2

08:00 Departure by "Afrosiab" high-speed train to Bukhara (4 h.)
12:00 Arrival in Bukhara. Transfer to hotel and check-in.

Bukhara

  • Visit Sitorai-Mokhi-Khosa - the Summer Palace of Bukhara Emir.
  • Chor Bakr necropolis.

13:00 Lunch.

Day 4
Bukhara-Samarkand
 
09:00 Departure by car to Samarkand.
10:00 City of Gijduvan:
  • Visit to the Gijduvan Ceramic Museum and the workshop of a famous ceramist.

12:00 Visit to several architectural monuments near the city of Navoi:
  • Sardoba Well
  • Ruins of the Rabat-Malik Caravanserai

13:30 Lunch at a roadside traditional tea house.
18:30 Arrival in Samarkand. Accommodation at the hotel. Free time.

 
 
Day 5
Samarkand

09:00 Sightseeing tour across Samarkand:

  • Guri-Emir Mausoleum (Tamerlane's and Temurids tomb).
  • Registan Ensemble: (the most cult place not only in Samarkand, but, perhaps, all over Uzbekistan) Ulugbek's Madrasah, Sher-Dor Madrasah, Tillya-Kari Madrasah.

13:00 Lunch. Continuation of the tour:

  • Tamerlane’s (Bibi-Khanum) Mosque.
  • Siab Bazaar.
  • Shakhi-Zinda necropolis
  • Walk on residential quarters of the old city.

Day 6
Samarkand-Shakhrisabz-Samarkand 

09:00 Departure by car to Shakhrisabz through the Takhta-Karacha mountain pass (Travel time: 2 hours. Short stop at the pass for viewing beautiful scenery).

11:00 Arrival in Shakhrisabz. City tour:

  • Ruins of the Ak-Saray Palace.
  • Mausoleum of Jahangir and Umar-Shaikh (sons of Amir Temur).
  • Mausoleum of Dorut-Tilavat (burial site of Amir Temur's father)
  • Kuk-Gumbaz Mosque.

13:00 Departure to Samarkand.

14:00 Lunch in the mountains. We will enjoy lamb, excellently baked in a tandoor. This amazing dish is called "Tandir-gusht."

16:30 Arrival in Samarkand:

  • Visit to a factory that produces paper from mulberry branches.
  • Trip to the Samarkand Silk Road Business and Recreation Center. Dinner at the "Eternal City" theme park.
  • Visit to Registan Square. Evening illumination overview.

21:30 Transfer to the hotel. Free time.

 

Day 7
Samarkand-Zaamin-Tashkent

08:30 Departure by car to Tashkent.
11:30 Visit the Zaamin Mountain Reserve and the modern tourist complex, where you can take a cable car to a height of 2480 meters. The viewpoint offers a magnificent view of the surrounding mountain peaks.
14:00 Lunch at the complex or at a roadside traditional teahouse.

Day 8
Tashkent

The program for the day is determined separately, depending on your flight departure time. If your departure is in the evening, you can either continue your tour of Tashkent or take a trip to the Tian Shan Mountains.

Transfer to the airport. End of a tour.
