This tour provides an excellent opportunity to immerse yourself in the atmosphere of Uzbekistan's most densely populated region, renowned for its picturesque landscapes and rich culture. You will enjoy breathtaking views of the towering Tian Shan mountain peaks that rise majestically into the sky, as well as visit the historic khanate of Kokand and the city of Fergana, where tradition and modernity intertwine in harmonious unity.

Often referred to as the "Pearl of Central Asia," the vibrant and picturesque Fergana Valley has consistently played a crucial role in the region's history and culture. This remarkable area is a true gem of the Orient and has served as a hub for diverse civilizations since ancient times. Today, the Fergana Valley stands out as the most prosperous region in the country, captivating visitors with its stunning natural beauty and vibrant colors. Known as the "Golden Valley," the Fergana Valley encompasses a vast and flourishing oasis, celebrated for its rich and fertile lands. It is home to notable towns such as Namangan, Kokand, Rishtan, Fergana, and Andizhan, each contributing to the valley's esteemed reputation.

The journey will take you to unique bazaars and craft centers in Rishtan and Margilan, where you can witness the craftsmanship of local artisans and purchase amazing handmade products. The rural areas of the Fergana Valley will reveal the lives of ordinary people, their customs, and traditions, giving you a chance to observe how they live and work. If your journey takes place in April or May, you will have the opportunity to enjoy poppy fields and blooming gardens that exude the fragrances of spring. You will witness the incredible process of caterpillars feeding on mulberry leaves before they transform into cocoons - these cocoons are used to produce exquisite silk yarn and fabrics that are famous worldwide. With the arrival of summer and autumn, you will be able to visit picturesque vineyards, where you can taste various grape varieties and savor their sweet flavors and splendor. We will also visit a melon market, where numerous varieties of melons with incredible taste and aroma are sold.

Tour Itinerary:
Day 1
Tashkent-Kokand-Rishtan-Fergana
 
08:00 Departure from Tashkent to Kokand by car (about 4 hours on the road). The route goes through the Kamchik mountain pass (2268 m), where we will make a short stop to admire the scenic views of the Tian Shan mountains.

12:00 Arrival in Kokand. City tour:

  • Khudoyar Khan Palace

13:00 Lunch at a traditional Uzbek teahouse. Continuation of the tour in Kokand:

  • Juma Mosque
  • Norbutabiy Madrasa
  • Dahma-i-Shakhon Necropolis

15:00 Departure to Rishtan (1 hour on the road). Rishtan is the center of unique ceramics production.
We will visit the workshops of famous Rishtan potters and learn about the process of making ceramic products.
17:00 Departure to Fergana (1 hour on the road). Check-in at the hotel.
19:00 Dinner. Free time.
 
  
 
Day 2
Fergana-Margilan-Tashkent

09:00 Overview tour of Fergana.
10:30 Transfer to Margilan (20 minutes travel time)

  • Visit to the factories "Gold Silk" and "Yodgorlik." These factories are widely known for producing traditional silk fabrics and ikats.
  • Visit to the Margilan bazaar.
  • Visit to the Said Ahmad-Khodja Madrasah - center for folk crafts. Explore the process of making the famous Margilan silk fabrics.

13:00 Lunch. Departure from Margilan to Tashkent (travel time 6 hours).
On the way to Tashkent, we will visit a village.

Price for the tour:

$500 for 1-3 person, crossover BYD Song Plus (2024).
$600 for 4-6 person, Hyundai H1 van (2019).
$700 for 7 person, Hyndai H1 van (2019).
