This trip will add variety to your journey through Uzbekistan.
You will experience the beautiful nature near Tashkent, enjoy picturesque views of the mountains, breathe the fresh air, and savor delicious food.
In the morning, I will pick you up at your hotel, and we will drive to the mountains, specifically the foothills of the Western Tien Shan - an hour and a half journey to the Amirsoy resort.
While we drive through Tashkent, I will share information about the sights we pass and the stories associated with them.
A few dozen kilometers after leaving Tashkent, we will pass near the city of Chirchik. We'll drive past agricultural fields, orchards, hydraulic structures, as well as villages and country houses.
Upon arriving at the Amirsoy resort, we will take a cable car to a height of 2,290 meters and enjoy the breathtaking views of the Tien Shan mountains.
After descending, we will continue our journey to Lake Charvak. Along the way, we can make a brief stop at the Chimgan ski resort, where you can take a short walk into the mountains or enjoy a horseback ride.
Once we reach Lake Charvak, we will stop at a scenic lookout point on a high cliff to admire the stunning views of the lake framed by the Tien Shan mountains, and we will also see the dam - an impressive engineering marvel.
If our excursion takes place during the warm season, we can take a boat ride on the lake, swim, or even go paragliding with an instructor.
After descending to the village of Khojykent, we will have lunch at a local teahouse featuring delicious Uzbek cuisine.
Following lunch, we will embark on a walking tour to a sheer rock face, where we will see ancient rock paintings (petroglyphs) created by ancient artists.
After exploring the petroglyphs, we will proceed to see a giant chinar (plane tree) that is over 800 years old.
In a small nearby pond fed by spring water, we will also spot some trout. If our excursion takes place in the spring, we will conclude our walk at a stunning mountain waterfall that adds charm to our journey.
The return trip to Tashkent will take about an hour and a half. I will drop you back at your hotel, concluding the excursion.
Tour Itinerary:
09:00 Depart by crossover or van to Amirsoy Skiing Resort.
10:30 Take a ride on a cableway to 2290 m . peak.
Charvak Lake is a highly popular destination during the summer months. We will have a stop to capture photos of the stunning lake. If you wish, you can take a refreshing swim in the lake or try your hand at paragliding for a thrilling experience.
14:00 Lunch nearby Khojikent village.
After lunch we will walk in the garden and see giant plane trees and petroglyphs - rock carvings made by ancient people.
17:00 Drive back to
18:00 End of the tour.
